Senior Quantity Surveyor – Canberra Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), In partnership with GEDON Executive GEDON Executive is proud to be partnered with Rider Levett Bucknall in their search for a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Canberra business. This is a unique opportunity to become part of a globally recognised consultancy delivering landmark projects across the region. About the Role You'll join a high-performing team focused on delivering full pre- and post-contract services across complex and high-profile developments. RLB's Canberra office is deeply involved in shaping the city's built environment, working across government, commercial, and institutional sectors. Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver comprehensive cost planning and estimating across all design phases.
  • Lead contract administration, financial reporting, and project cost control post-award.
  • Provide strategic advice on procurement, value management, and risk mitigation.
  • Support and mentor junior team members in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.
Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline at BSc or MSc Level
  • 8+ years of Quantity Surveying experience, ideally in a consultancy setting.
  • Strong pre- and post-contract experience across diverse project types.
  • Strong track record delivering projects in the Vertical Building Sector including Government, Health, Education etc.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commercial awareness.
