About the role

Part of the Retail Apparel Group (RAG), Tarocash is one of Australia's leading men's fashion retailers, we are aiming to deliver to our customer occasion focused on-trend products. We are recruiting for an exciting opportunity as Production and Sourcing Manager. This role is a fulltime permanent position where you will work closely with the Head of Sourcing and Production & the Product team to deliver products from conception to store. We are looking for a dynamic person who is proactive, versatile andpassionate about quality apparel and collaborating with a fast-paced product team. Great Sydney location, close to public transport links.

Key Responsibilities

• Live and breathe the RAG cultural statements and core values.
• Drive all aspects of the production and sourcing processes across multiple categories to assist the Head of Sourcing & Production.
• Proactively support the product developer on pre-development, cost negotiations, order raising, tech packs and vendor management from concept to GRN.
• Closely Manage product critical path and resolve issues with a "can do" attitude, looking for opportunities for improvements.
• Seasonal reporting on vendor capabilities and ongoing capacity.
• Build mutually beneficial strong relationships with overseas suppliers across different regions.
• Implement Brand sourcing and vendor diversification strategy in collaborationwith Head of Sourcing & Production.
• Work collaboratively with our internal and external support teams for win-win solutions.
• Liaise with Group functions and other brand production teams on production, compliance and sustainability in line with group strategy
• Manage the flow of samples where required across development/salesman/fit approvals (PP & shipping), photo shoot samples and e-comm.

Skills and Experience

Our ideal candidate is an experienced dynamic person who has come from a retail environment and has demonstrated experience as a production and sourcing manager, or a production coordinator with 5+ years' experience & keen on taking their career to the next level.

In addition, you will have,

• The ability to manage timelines and proactively offer solutions to ensure on time deliveries.
• A good team player with Strong collaborative skills with ability to move with change.
• Intermediate to Advanced in MS Excel skills and production systems. 3 clicks and AP21 a bonus.
• Good technical knowledge on fabric and garment construction.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Experience across multiple manufacturing countries.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritizingdeadlines.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.
• Driven and enthusiastic.
