SYPAQ is seeking multiple Earned Value Management Professionals to work with the commonwealth in support of the Collins Submarine Program Earned Value Management System Assurance Review (EVMS). The key deliverables of the EVMS Assurance review is to;

  • Assess the validity/accuracy of the Earned Value Management System
  • Confirm whether the use of Earned Value is the most appropriate methodology
Working from Henderson Navy Capability Centre, this short term project through December 2025 will see you manage the following key project milestones;
  • Kick off Meeting with a presentation of the high level outline of the review approach.
  • Draft EVMS Assurance Review Report for key stakeholder review and feedback.
  • Final EVMS Assurance Review Report which includes feedback from key stakeholders.
  • Presentation of key findings and recommendations.
  • Fortnightly progress reporting
Remote work may be considered for activities outside of key milestones and at the approval of the customer.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management (minimum 5 years)
  • A current Defence security clearance (minimum NV1)
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards and references COLLINS Class Submarines In-Service Support Contract (CCSM ISSC) CSP/2012/1 of 29th June 2012; AS Earned value management in project and programme management (ISO 21508:2018, MOD) and CASG Manual (PM Defence Supplement to the Australian Standard for Earned Value Management, AS 4817 V2.1, 2023
A capability profile outlining recent project experience, software tools experience and core skillsets will be required, in addition to a CV from shortlisted candidates.
