At Peters Ice Cream we pride ourselves on our strong and collaborative relationships with our retail partners.

Due to an internal promotion, we have an opportunity for you to help us to continue to foster this relationship, in a role where you will take ownership of maintaining key relationship and deliver strong service to our customers. In this position, you will help us to continue to support strong and seamless connections between our customers, grocery sales managers and supply chain teams.

This is a 12 month contract role, based at our Mulgrave office, with the ability to work from home 2 days per week.

The Role

Your success is key to the Customer Service team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Owning the customer collaboration process to drive best in class forecast accuracy and alignment.
  • Optimising the customer supply chain and ensuring that service standards are met
  • Regularly report on core KPIs set by the customer with analysis on impacts and risks.
  • Provide data-driven insights to enable efficiencies for Peters and our customers.
  • Build and maintain reports that allow Peters to track and understand order patterns, customer inventory and forecast alignment.
  • Assisting Customer Service team to understand and meet short term financial projections.
  • Participate in strategic and business planning by contributing a planning perspective.
  • Engage with our production planning team to ensure customer priorities are communicated.

For you to be successful in this role we need you to have:
  • Experience in managing customer relationships and understanding their supply chain challenges.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to provide advice, influence and negotiate with a diversity of internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Moderate to advanced Excel skills with a strong ability to articulate insights
  • Prepared to own a process and accept accountability for performance.
  • Have a keen and curious eye for continuous improvement and the willingness to adapt as required.
  • Experience in replenishment within the FMCG industry will support your success in this role
