About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Governance Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Supply Chain Governance and Compliance, you will work closely with program supply chain stakeholders to ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and assurance standards. This role is pivotal in implementing the enterprise-wide Sovereign Supply Chain Development Strategy and maintaining robust supply chain qualification processes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the identification, coordination, and development of supply chain governance, compliance, and risk monitoring tools.
  • Oversee the development and transition to an integrated multi-program supplier pre-qualification process.
  • Manage the development and operation of an effective qualification waiver/concession process.
  • Integrate digital technologies (e.g., JOSCAR) to enhance the supplier pre-qualification process.
  • Develop and roll out up-to-date supplier qualification training materials.
  • Coordinate consistent and timely supply chain risk boards, including preparation of agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
  • Review and update supply chain-related risks and actions in Predict and CAMMs.
  • Conduct risk and obligation analysis meetings with supply chain stakeholders to develop effective mitigation actions.
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in commerce, law, supply chain, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain principles, processes, and best practices.
  • Experience and knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management.
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of relevant business experience.
  • Awareness of the Australian defence industry landscape, including government policies and initiatives.
  • Strong communication and customer relations skills.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities to meet customer requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
Eligibility

This role requires a current National Police Clearance and an Australian Defence Security Clearance to an NV1 level. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearance. Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
