The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business in Cairns is looking for a Team Member to join the Operations team. Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation, from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes to large commercial and industrial projects.

In this production role, you'll work in a continuous production environment, operating machinery to create premium building products. Using 100% Australian-made steel, you'll be key in providing customers with what they need, when they need it. You'll receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of the role, with future career development opportunities

What Will You Do?

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and coordinating customer pickups
  • Operating forklifts and other processing equipment
  • Providing a first-class customer experience
  • Picking and packing stock on-site to create specific orders
  • Ensuring safety for yourself and your co-workers
