Company Description

We are looking for a Vet Nurse to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis at both our Earlville and Smithfield Clinics. Join a growing, supportive, and talented group of professionals In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of small animal practice and have the opportunity to examine and treat native wildlife such as wallabies, curlews, frogs, snakes, lizards, and various birds.

Our clinic has an established and loyal client base, operating for over 30 years. You will work alongside experienced vets, nurses, and a groomer, providing team-based care. The clinic features three consult rooms with natural sunlight, treatment areas, surgical theatre, radiology, isolation ward, post-op recovery cages, and separate wards for dogs and cats. The top floor includes amenities like a shower, bathroom, kitchen, and lounge area.

About Your New Job
  • Part-time or full-time hours available
  • Performing general nursing tasks including pre and post-operative care, animal pathology, and emergency care
  • Performing minor procedures as required
  • Maintaining hygiene standards in surgical and treatment areas
  • Providing excellent customer service both in person and over the phone, including appointment booking and advice
What You'll Bring
  • Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with 2+ years of clinical experience
  • Extensive knowledge of veterinary nursing procedures
  • Strong communication skills
  • A calm, friendly, and team-oriented attitude
  • Experience with RXworks is advantageous
