Job Description

About The Role

As a Tree Team Member Driver, you will be responsible for delivering a range of horticultural/tree services ensuring Parramatta's Street trees, parks and open spaces are maintained and improved enhancing the appearance of our great city

Joining our parks team means being a part of a dynamic and fulfilling workplace, where your contributions directly impact the overall experience of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive and operate Truck for the Parks and Open Space Tree Section
Plant operation- chippers, stump grinders and small plant.
Work within the scope of acceptable practices of the Horticulture and Arboriculture
Undertake tasks as directed and adapt to changing priorities and workloads.

About You

As the team member driver, you will be adaptable, have a great attention to detail, be punctual and have excellent communication skills to work collaboratively within the team.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the role, candidates must possess the essential requirements outlinedbelow:

Current NSW MR Truck Drivers Licence
White Card
Chainsaw Operation Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

What's on offer:

This is a Permanent Full-Time position.

Monday-Friday
6:00am-3:00pm
38 hours per week
Fortnightly rostered day off

We are offering an attractive remuneration from $65,814 to $72,473 plus 12% Superannuation.

This position will attract allowances in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023, this could include the Adverse Working Conditions Level Allowance.
