The role:

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join the team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is based around Western Sydney and is open to both full-time and part-time hours with flexible working arrangements and work from home options.

Responsibilities include:
  • Providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients under Aged Care funding
  • Promoting independence and restoring functional abilities to enable clients to remain living at home
Your team:

About you:
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
  • Postgraduate experience working with aged care services, including community settings
  • Ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients
  • Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement, and restorative care approaches
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy and willingness to use required software for a work-from-home role
  • Understanding of and alignment with BaptistCare's Christian values
  • Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
