We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to join our team in Wingham. You will be an integral part of an experienced Quality Assurance Team to assist the QA Manager in all areas.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring quality procedures in line with regulatory and customer requirements
  • Overseeing the QA Production team to ensure compliance
  • Assisting in developing quality control procedures and safety standards for food manufacturing
  • Monitoring and recording daily production needs and providing specialist assistance to the QA Manager
  • Implementing project management initiatives
  • Applying valid and reliable sampling techniques for process monitoring
  • Demonstrating excellent judgment, initiative, and drive
  • Exhibiting strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and computer skills

Qualifications and experience:

  • Strong understanding of HACCP & Quality Assurance Systems
  • Experience in the food processing industry with knowledge of quality assurance monitoring and reporting systems
  • Internal auditing and HACCP certification preferred
  • Good understanding of the regulated Approved Arrangement
  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management or Food Technology are advantageous
