Overview

Seasonal Casual Team Member – Batemans Bay role at Illawarra Mercury. This position supports peak Christmas trading periods with opportunities to develop retail skills and contribute to the local store and community.

  • Serving customers with warmth and a smile
  • Keeping shelves stocked and the store looking great
  • Supporting online orders and store operations
  • Working safely and as part of a close-knit team

What We're Looking For
  • A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help others
  • Availability across weekdays, weekends, and busy trading periods
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not essential
  • Note: This role is for the peak Christmas period; regular availability throughout the week, including weekends and public holidays, is required. Leave during this period cannot be accommodated. Holidays booked over Christmas may make this role unsuitable.
