Based in Perth, you'll join a high-performing, tight-knit team that partners directly with some of Australia's biggest names in mining. This is your chance to move beyond transactional sales and into a career where your insights, technical know-how, and relationship-building skills make a real difference.

Reporting to the WA Sales Manager and backed by an experienced support crew, you'll work closely with mine sites to develop smart, engineered solutions that support their critical maintenance strategies. You won't just be selling parts — you'll be building long-term trust and delivering value where it matters most.

What You'll Do:

Use your experience in customer relationship management, ideally within industrial, agricultural or mining settings, to build lasting client partnerships.

Lead sales efforts by securing long-term commitments and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Apply your understanding of mechanical and engineering principles, plus knowledge of manufacturing processes, to provide tailored client solutions.

Identify and secure new revenue streams, then manage and grow those relationships over time.

Promote Geographe's products, expand our presence in established markets, and actively pursue new opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships at all levels within key accounts, clearly communicating our value and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Conduct regular on-site client meetings, approximately one week every four weeks.

Negotiate term contracts that deliver long-term value for both Geographe and the client.

Develop and implement tailored client development strategies, and report on progress quarterly basis.

What You'll Bring to the Role

Clear and confident communication skills — both written and verbal

Experience with SAP, CRM systems (like Salesforce or HubSpot), and Microsoft Office is preferred.

A C-class driver's licence and willingness to travel as needed.

A team player who's equally comfortable working independently.

Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong drive to succeed.

Previous experience in a customer-facing or client engagement role.

Comfortable presenting ideas or technical concepts to groups.

B2B sales or relationship management experience is desirable.

Any background in understanding fixed or mobile mining equipment will be a strong advantage.

You'll need to be double COVID-19 vaccinated to attend some client sites.

Candidates who understand the principles of mechanics and engineering or who have worked within a FIFO capacity relating to heavy mobile equipment or fixed plant will be looked upon favourably. This position may suit someone looking to get off the tools and move into a more family friendly role.
