Head of Cloud, Infrastructure and Engineering

As part of an exciting transformation, we are seeking a Head of Cloud, Infrastructure, and Engineering to lead the technical direction, architecture, and execution of enterprise IT systems and infrastructure. This role will shape the organisation's technology landscape, driving innovation, operational excellence, and strong alignment between business needs and technical implementation.
The organisation is undergoing significant technology, platform, and architecture transformation; therefore, we need an individual with demonstrated experience, innovative thinking, and motivation to lead this change.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strategic technical leadership and championing the adoption of innovative solutions to deliver a future-ready technology environment.
- Overseeing enterprise architecture, systems performance, and capacity planning to ensure reliability and scalability.
- Ensuring robust cybersecurity and compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Leading and developing the engineering team, fostering opportunities for staff growth and skills development.
- Advancing the organisation toward a modern, holistic, and best-practice technology ecosystem.
- Leveraging expert third-party providers while building strong internal knowledge and control of technology environments.
- Managing budgets for infrastructure, cloud planning, development, maintenance, and related functions.
About You:
You are a proven technology leader with deep expertise in IT systems engineering, architecture, and infrastructure management. Your ability to bridge business objectives with technical execution is complemented by your commitment to innovation, team development, and operational excellence.
To be successful, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IT engineering or infrastructure functions in large, complex environments.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture, cloud environments, and modern infrastructure practices.
- Proven success in building high-performing teams and developing engineering capability.
- A track record of delivering secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-focused outcomes.
