Overview

Join our collaborative and experienced health care team. Be a key member of our Maintenance Services team, responsible for maintaining the safety and functionality of Metro South Health facilities through planned and corrective maintenance tasks. Your work will directly support the wellbeing of staff and patients by ensuring facility infrastructure is reliable and efficient.

Responsibilities
  • Perform allocated planned and corrective maintenance activities on plant, infrastructure, and equipment under the direction of Trade Supervisors.
  • Assist qualified tradespersons with maintenance tasks, including test and tagging, plant room cleaning, and water flushing.
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely, timely, cost-effectively, and to prescribed quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to minimise disruption and uphold organisational standards.
About you
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to workplace health and safety, equal employment opportunity, and delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Basic knowledge or willingness to quickly learn relevant systems such as S/4HANA, Riskman, MyHR, WHS Monitor, and Microsoft Office.
