Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Rigger located in Greater Ipswich Area union EBA rates for the right person. The Rigger will be responsible for setting up, repairing, and maintaining rigging systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of lifting and moving materials. Daily tasks include inspecting rigging equipment, lifting and loading concrete precast, and coordinating with other team members to execute projects following safety standards and project specifications. The role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols. Must be able to work overtime and plenty of hours available.

Qualifications

• Proficient in setting up, repairing, and maintaining rigging systems
• Be willing to work in other areas during quiet times.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and protocols in rigging, be able to work as a team and also unsupervised.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require physical strength
• Relevant certifications and qualifications in rigging and construction safety
• Experience in the construction or precast concrete industry is a plus.
• Punctuality and reliabilty a must as is the ability to work overtime.
