About the role

The purpose of this role is to provide a high-quality, accountable, consumer-focused Social Work service to consumers within Forensic and Secure Services. The role will work across various program areas within Forensic and Secure Services.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to provide consumer-focused discipline-specific and interdisciplinary clinical services, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
  • Ability to apply recovery principles consistent with social work values and practice standards in a forensic inpatient setting.
  • Respect for others, remaining flexible, fair, and willing to compromise when working with team members.
  • Ability to articulate a social work perspective and the priorities for assessment and intervention within a multidisciplinary team.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Vaccinated against, and remaining vaccinated against, certain vaccine-preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the policy.
