Citywide is recruiting for a Qualified Gardener to work on the maintenance of parks and gardens within our City of Casey contract.

  • Full-time Monday to Friday
  • Attractive working hours - 6.30am to 2.36pm

Duties of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Watering and irrigation maintenance
  • Turf Maintenance
  • Planting
  • Herbicide spraying
  • Weeding
  • Tree pruning, watering and mulching
  • Establishing new and maintain old garden beds
  • Operate and maintain various horticultural equipment

Skills and qualifications required:

  • Previous experience in a similar gardening/soft landscaping role
  • Cert III in Horticulture or equivalent
  • MR Truck licence
  • Chemical certificate
  • Traffic Management
  • First Aid
  • Excellent work ethic with ability to show initiative
  • Working with Children Card
  • Police Check
