Associate Consultant - Connecting Tech Talent

Contract Duration: 12 months with extensions

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Test Lead to lead testing activities across our clients Scheme Digital Platform projects. Working closely with the Test Manager, you will ensure the testing strategies, frameworks, and standards are consistently applied, driving high-quality delivery across multiple projects.

This is a leadership role best suited to someone with strong technical testing expertise, stakeholder management skills, and the ability to guide both vendors and internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Manage test delivery across projects, ensuring delivery remains within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets.
  • Act as a Test SME, guiding stakeholders in the effective use of testing tools.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and supporting test data/requirements.
  • Lead defect triages and defect management processes, documenting issues and coordinating resolutions.
  • Assign and oversee execution of test cases at various stages of the testing lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with business teams to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Analyse and report on testing activities, escalating risks/issues to project management.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including process changes, automation, and tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, business teams, and vendors to ensure timely and effective project implementation.
  • Manage testing activities across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Maintain accurate records of time, effort, and test results.
About You
  • Proven experience leading testing activities for complex programs, including creation of Test Summary Reports.
  • Strong Agile testing experience, with accountability to deliver in each sprint.
  • Extensive experience with test management tools, including Jira Xray and CRM platforms (Salesforce).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to manage multiple project factors concurrently.
  • Excellent teamwork skills, working across business, vendors, and geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships, foster collaboration, and encourage innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience working in large organisations on complex software deployments.
  • Background in related technical fields such as application development, database development, deployment/implementation, or infrastructure.
  • Interest in accessibility practices and enthusiasm for accessible design and development.
