Our client, a leading global engineering and technical consultancy, is seeking Senior—to principal-level Power Systems Engineers to join its innovative Grid and Power Systems Advisory team. With a healthy share of Australia's grid connection studies, this group offers unrivalled access to a wide array of projects and technical challenges.

Location: Ideally based in Melbourne, but remote work options are available

About the Role :

This is your chance to work with a forward-thinking organization at the forefront of renewable energy and grid connection solutions. As a Senior Power Systems Engineer, you'll lead complex technical studies, provide innovative solutions for renewable energy projects, and guide clients through critical milestones with AEMO and NSPs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead power system studies for large-scale renewable energy projects across Australia.
• Solve complex network challenges and develop innovative solutions to support grid integration.
• Navigate connection processes with AEMO and NSPs, ensuring project milestones are met.
• Collaborate with clients, OEMs, and regulatory bodies to deliver successful outcomes.
• Manage technical quality, timelines, and budgets for high-profile projects.
• Strong knowledge through R0, R1 and commissioning studies
• Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering (Bachelor's or higher).
• Extensive experience in power systems modelling using tools like PSS/E, PowerFactory, or PSCAD.
• Proven expertise in grid connection processes and renewable energy integration.
• Strong project management skills with an ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills to manage stakeholders effectively.
