At KC Support Services, we're dedicated to people — our participants and our team. We are currently seeking disability support workers to join our expanding team in North Brisbane, focusing on Beerwah, Caboolture, Burpengary, Kallangur, and North Lakes.

This part-time role offers flexible hours with casual shifts, ideal for balancing work and personal commitments. There are also opportunities to work from home for administrative tasks.

Role Overview

The Disability Support Worker will assist NDIS participants in achieving personal goals, supporting daily activities at home, and facilitating community access. Responsibilities include personal care, implementing personalized plans, maintaining detailed records, and collaborating with healthcare professionals for holistic care.

About You:

  • Experience supporting participants with complex needs and behaviors of concern.
  • Understanding of working with physical and behavioral disabilities; ability to maintain professionalism and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with participants and families.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Flexibility to work over a 7-day roster, including overnight shifts, training, or meetings.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Relevant qualifications in a related field.
  • First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and NDIS Worker Orientation; willingness to obtain if necessary.
  • Current driver's license and access to a fully insured vehicle.
