A high profile Association, with a focus on Local Government are looking for an Events and Partnerships Executive, to run their events and conferences throughout the year. With one or two larger events and a few smaller ones throughout the year, this role will see you working closely with the Head of Marketing, to manage events end-to-end.

What you'll be doing:

  • Project managing the delivery of events from concept through to event
  • Liaising with venues
  • Managing the logistics for all events including third-party stakeholders and suppliers
  • Managing commercial partners
  • Acting as main point of contact for all events and enquiries
  • Ensuring members get a first-class experience at all events

What you'll need to get the job:

  • 2-4 years' experience in events focused roles
  • Proven experience running both larger scale conferences and smaller events preferred
  • Project management skills - ability to deliver projects/ events on-time and to budget
  • Ability to manage commercial partners/ partnerships
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Top notch communication and organisational skills a must
  • Must be happy to work the odd weekend (depending on the event) and travel interstate where required
