About the opportunity

In this position, you will be responsible for:

1. Assisting with planning, preparing, and delivering effective learning and teaching programs, including the use of technology and learning support activities.
2. Monitoring student progress and identifying learning areas to provide evidence-based intervention strategies.
3. Supporting students with diverse learning needs to improve outcomes.
4. Collaborating with specialists to organize and assist with intervention groups and coordinate services.
5. Documenting observations, intervention programs, and assisting in preparing classroom materials.

About you

To succeed, you will have relevant skills and experience, including:

1. Strong skills in planning, preparing, and delivering teaching programs.
2. Ability to monitor student progress and implement evidence-based interventions.
3. Expertise in supporting diverse learning needs.
4. Collaborative skills to work with specialists and coordinate intervention groups.
5. Proficiency in documenting observations and managing intervention programs.
6. Certificate III in Education Support.
7. Experience in Classroom and Student Support, Administration, and Compliance Tasks.
8. Note: You are not required to be Catholic for this position.

Eligibility and Safeguarding requirements:

1. Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of employment.
2. Possession of a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to starting.
