Our Gatton transport depot is looking for experienced Linehaul Drivers.

Linehaul Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of customer goods between major locations. This role requires a high level of skill, experience, and the ability to operate a commercial heavy vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) over 4.5 tonnes.

We are offering casual with the view to move to permanent. Working up to 5 days a week, with an afternoon start; these runs offer good views on the road and a good work / life balance.

• Gatton – Cootamundra & Dubbo
• Gatton – Goondiwindi Changeover

• Working with temperature sensitive freight
• Ensuring the safe and timely handling of company freight
• Completing relevant pre-start checklists, safety documentation and delivery paperwork
• Interacting with clients in a professional manner
• Working closely with Depot teams for the loading, unloading and transportation of freight
• Operating prime movers in the configuration of B-doubles
• Completing essential safety documentation such as pre-start checklists

To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:

• Knowledge of paperwork associated with freight delivery and familiarity using internal cab data systems
• Basic Fatigue Management accreditation (well respected but not essential)
• Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
• Have a strong customer focus with good communication skills
• Be well presented, professional and reliable

• Pass a Commercial Drivers Health Assessment including drug and alcohol test
• Provide a current traffic print out
• Be flexible of start and finish times
