Overview

Join Menzies Aviation for a rewarding career in aviation. Full training provided onsite by qualified trainers; no experience needed. This is an entry level, permanent part-time role at Perth Airport with a minimum 19 hours per week, averaging 32-37 rostered hours plus overtime. A 7 day/24 hour rotational shift roster is required.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out a range of aircraft ramp services including baggage handling, loader operation, pushback operations, driver duties and leading hand responsibilities at Perth Airport.
Candidate requirements
  • Must be reliable and motivated to work.
  • Full-time availability, including shift work.
  • Be able to work on a rotational roster.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet critical deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 32 kg.
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English with excellent communication skills.
  • Well presented.
  • Willing to work in all weather conditions.
  • Must hold a current Australian Driver's Licence.
  • Possess Australian citizenship or permanent residency.

Safety, Security and Compliance
  • Carry out ramp related activities as directed by the Company through its policies, procedures and training.
  • Remain up to date with station notices, relevant training and safety procedures.
  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment at all times.
  • Comply with the Company's reporting culture.
