Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

The IT Specialist is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing an organization's computer systems, networks, and technology infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure operations, working closely with Corporate IT Teams in Italy.

Core Responsibilities- Essential Job Functions

  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring all technology components function effectively and securely.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers, servers, software, and networking equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
  • Monitor system performance and security measures, implementing updates, patches, and backup procedures to protect organizational data.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and staff, assisting with software applications, hardware use, and IT policies adherence.
  • Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations in line with company policies and security standards.
  • Collaborate closely with Corporate IT Teams in Italy to assess technology needs, recommend solutions, and coordinate IT projects or system upgrades.
  • Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to safeguard against unauthorized access, data breaches, and cyber threats.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency in operating systems (Windows), network technologies, hardware components, and software applications.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose IT system failures and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication abilities to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users and collaborate with team members.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms virtualization technologies, and cybersecurity principles.
  • Experience with system backups, disaster recovery.
  • Ability to collaborate efficiently with team members in separate geographical locations and different time zones

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is commonly required.
