Senior Financial Accountant - Supply Chain

About the Company This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional with a strong background in Tax to join this global multinational and household name.

About the role

  • Statutory accounts preparation and liaison with auditors
  • Ownership of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash flow reporting at a country level
  • Journal processing and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Direct and indirect taxes including liaison with tax consultants and ATO for audits and queries
  • Responding to Regional Office regarding accounting queries and variations etc

About you

  • CA/CPA or equivalent with at least 3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Big 4 background preferred but not essential
  • Experienced in direct and indirect taxes
  • Experience in statutory accounts including IFRS specifically IFRS 16
  • Knowledge of operational areas of accounting including AR, AP, and Fixed Assets
  • Oracle financials experience preferred but not essential
  • Team player with a can-do attitude
  • Quick learner who can easily adapt their knowledge of accounting and tax principles
