Overview

Iluka Resources is a leading global producer of critical minerals. We are seeking a People Partner (Operations) to support WA-based operations in Geraldton, North Capel (near Bunbury), and Cataby (north of Perth). The role is full-time and permanent, ideally based at Geraldton or North Capel with regular travel to the other WA sites. You will work closely with 2 People Advisors who support the region.

Role responsibilities
  • Partner with the business to provide HR advisory support and coaching on people matters including workforce planning, performance management, talent development, employee relations and change management
  • Analyse and monitor workforce trends to identify leading trends for the operational workgroup and support the delivery of proactive strategies in response
  • Support operational leaders to progress day-to-day activities and culture initiatives
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the delivery of quality services
  • Participate as part of a broader professional HR team by personally contributing to continuous improvement of service delivery
About You
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in a human resources role within mining or other related heavy industries
  • Proven ability to develop constructive working relationships with employees and managers
  • Strong influencing skills
  • A good understanding of human resources and employee relations legislation and practices
  • Sound judgement and objective problem-solving skills
  • Experience using HR systems such as Workday
  • Valid C class driver's licence
