
Account Executive Principal

Join our disruptive evolution of the software industry as a Strategic Account Executive within our State Government Team, based in Sydney. You will work with State Government Departments delivering Pega innovative software which reduces business complexity, streamlines service, boosts efficiencies, and enables real-time AI and intelligent automation to support digital transformation across NSW, VIC and QLD.
What You'll Do at Pega:- Penetrate new departments (new logo) and generate new business within the assigned State Government territory.
- Leverage industry and product knowledge to show how a client can maximize license value to drive business benefits.
- Continuously build and maintain a strong pipeline of sales activity through prospecting.
- Demonstrate strong sales skills in forecasting, executive presentations, and strategic planning.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with multiple stakeholders across State Government/Public Sector departments.
- Collaborate with Pega's ecosystem to jointly generate value propositions for government.
- Be a strong team player contributing to strategy, insights, and quota success within the State Government team.
- Provide insights to customers as the basis of the commercial conversation, teaching them something new/valuable about how to serve citizens.
- Maintain a pipeline of activity through prospecting and pipelining using a variety of methods.
- Work with Pega's partners to generate Pega value propositions.
A motivated enterprise software sales executive, driven to add value to clients and their business process automation strategies. You are able to push the customer's thinking, quickly gain credibility, build strong relationships, and contribute to client and Pega success. (Note: This role requires you to be based in Sydney and have existing full Australian work rights.)
What You've Accomplished:- 10+ years of direct enterprise software sales experience.
- Recent focus on State Government with a strong history in Public Sector and State government sales.
- Stable and progressive history of quota achievement.
- Solid foundation in account management, pipeline development, and prospecting.
- Knowledge of BPA, DPA, RPA, CRM and Case Management enterprise software solutions is useful.
- Experience working with large partner organizations and the ecosystem.
- Participation in formal sales training with a strong sales process.
- Track record of challenging and improving a customer's way of doing business.
- Analyst-recognized technology leadership by Gartner and Forrester in a massive emerging market.
- Reference-able clients among the world's most innovative organizations.
- Fast-paced, collaborative, and rewarding sales environment within innovative industries.
