About The School

Baringa State Secondary College opened in 2021 with Year 7 and 8 students. Since then, we've grown into a vibrant and inclusive school community focused on high-quality education. In 2025, we will celebrate our first group of foundation students graduating Year 12. With modern facilities and a committed team, Baringa offers exciting opportunities for students and staff alike.

About The Role

As the Head of Department (Curriculum), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the relevant curriculum areas or whole school program to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focussed on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
• Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
• Set high standards for student and staff performance.
• Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
