We are an Australian engineering, advanced manufacturing and construction company within the following sectors: Oil & Gas, Mining & Resources, Water & Infrastructure; Defence.

Role Summary

We are seeking a suitably trade-qualified Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical background and 5+ years of experience to support our composite engineering and manufacturing operations.

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of advanced composite manufacturing equipment, including rotating machinery and motorised plant used in high-performance applications.

You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and performance of critical systems by applying your expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems within a high-spec industrial environment.

Your responsibilities will include managing preventative and corrective maintenance programs, leading shutdown activities, and ensuring detailed documentation of all service work, including that performed by subcontractors. And oversee the inventory and management of critical spare parts and consumables, ensuring key components are available to support efficient and continuous operations.

The Suitable Candidate Will Need To

• Have a minimum of five years' experience within the relevant role
• Experience with Composite materials and resin handling procedures
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics
• Use of Precision tools and measuring instruments
• Experience with computerised maintenance management systems
• Electrical Fault Finding
• Basic PLC understanding for equipment interface and troubleshooting
  
  

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications or Trade Experience in Mechanical Fitter
