Housekeeping Assistant – Overview

We're now looking for a Housekeeping Assistant to join our dedicated and hardworking team. If you take pride in high standards, enjoy working as part of a friendly team, and want to be part of a vibrant country hotel, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Cleaning and maintaining guest bedrooms and bathrooms to the highest standards.
  • Ensuring public areas, lounges, and event spaces are spotless and welcoming.
  • Replenishing linens, toiletries, and other amenities for guest comfort.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues promptly to the management team.
  • Supporting the team with laundry, stock rotation, and preparation for busy periods.
  • Working efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Who We're Looking For
  • Someone with a strong work ethic and pride in delivering a clean, comfortable environment.
  • A team player who is reliable, proactive, and flexible.
  • Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning is desirable, but full training will be provided.
  • A candidate who can work a mix of shifts, including weekends.
  • Someone with great attention to detail and the ability to work independently when needed.
Shift Patterns
  • Day Shifts: Typically between 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Shifts may vary slightly depending on business needs.
Additional Information
  • Own transport is essential due to our rural location (we're not on a direct public transport route).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.21-£12.40 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
