Right at Home provides in home care and assistance services across Australia through a network of Franchise Offices. The registered provider licence for these services is held centrally by HomeCare South Brisbane Pty Ltd trading as Right at Home RightCare, with subcontract agreements used to govern the delivery of services by the Franchise Offices as associated providers under the requirements of the Aged Care Act.

Right at Home is growing rapidly in the expanding home care market, currently sitting just outside the top 10 largest providers in the country.
Right at Home RightCare is seeking expressions of interest from experienced Aged Care leaders to become a Non-Executive Director for our Board. There is a single vacancy available.
Responsibilities- Provide governance leadership and strategic oversight for the operations of Right at Home RightCare.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and organisational policies.
- Critically analyse organisational financial, clinical and operational performance.
- Contribute your personal expertise to support the leadership and management of Right at Home Rightcare.
In order to meet the requirements of Aged Care legislation, to be considered for this role you must have recent relevant clinical experience in the Aged Care sector. It would be highly regarded if knowledge in cyber security in this sector can be evidenced.
You should also be a leader with:
- Significant board and/or executive experience in health, aged care, social enterprise or community services.
- A strong demonstrable commitment to client centred care, and an ability to uphold and nurture this in complex financial and governance settings.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management and fiduciary responsibility.
- Strategic capability, collaborative spirit and sound judgment.
This is a remunerated role, with appropriate remuneration to be discussed as part of the recruitment process. The role requires attendance at approximately 6 Brisbane based Board meetings a year with associated preparatory work. All Directors are expected to participate in relevant professional development activities.
