Description
We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registrar or Principal House Officer to join our Intensive Care Unit at the Hervey Bay Hospital.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, with exposure to a wide variety of complex cases and a commitment to delivering top-tier patient care.
The Intensive Care Unit is a dynamic, fast-paced environment, delivering high-quality acute and critical care to patients in need.
Hervey Bay Hospital is a regional facility offering a wide range of services to the community of Hervey Bay and surrounding areas. Located in the beautiful Fraser Coast, with a focus on both clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
You'll receive a competitive remuneration package valued up to $175,370 p.a., comprising:
- salary between $129,583 – $150,240 p.a. (L4–L9)
- employer superannuation contribution (up to 12.75%)
- annual leave loading (17.5%)
- vocational training subsidy
Temporary full time, 76 hours per fortnight, from date of appointment for up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension.
What you'll be doing- Participate in the provision, development and maintenance of effective, efficient and equitable clinical services for hospital patients, in consultation with consultants, visiting specialists, nurses and allied health professionals
- Contribute to ongoing medical education and share knowledge with staff and patients
- 6-monthly PHO rotations may be arranged between the Departments of Intensive Care and Internal Medicine, depending on service priorities and existing recruitment arrangements
- Rotations will also consider individual training needs and alignment with Statewide vocational trainee recruitment pathways
