AECOM is delivering some of Australia's most critical water infrastructure projects, including dams. With major investments and long-term partnerships with dam owners nationwide, we offer opportunities to work on complex, high-impact projects across the country.

As part of our industry-leading Dams team, you'll contribute to feasibility studies, design, construction, and asset management, collaborating with specialists nationally and internationally to develop sustainable water solutions and mentor the next generation of engineers.

You can base yourself in our Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Sydney, Perth, or Melbourne offices, with flexible working arrangements.

How you'll make a difference:

• Mechanical engineering design for dam operations and equipment integration.
• Inspection, investigation, and condition assessment of existing dams.
• Construction support services, including inspection of works, quality evaluation, and reporting.
• Preparation of tenders and proposals, along with mentoring team members.

The qualities that help you thrive:

• Demonstrated capability in mechanical design, including reports, drawings, and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
• Positive attitude, viewing challenges as opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders, clients, and industry peers.
• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (essential).
