We are looking for an experienced Storeperson to join our dynamic team based at our Perth branch. At Cummins we specialise in heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance across mining, on-highway, and power generation products.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways :

Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods dispatch

Using hand powered trolleys 80% of the time

Using forklifts 20% of the time

Hands on work – using RF scanners to transact goods receipt

Using hand powered trolleys 80% of the time

Using forklifts 20% of the time

Hands on work creating consignments and booking transport

80% keyboard data entry

20% hands on moving boxed

100% using forklift or PIV to move parts between workshops and warehouse

Participate in training and safety meetings

General cleaning activity – 30 mins a day

Daily inventory management tasks

To be successful in this role, you will need the following :

A current High Risk Forklift licence (preferable but not essential)

WA driver's licence

The flexibility to work reasonable overtime as required

Previous warehousing / stores experience preferred but not essential – on the job training available to suitable applicants

Previous experience in a customer facing role as part of a team would be beneficial

Ability to work unsupervised and commit to undertaking all work safely and efficiently

Intermediate computer skills (MS Office – intermediate Excel) and can learn new systems and processes quickly

RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications : To be successful in this role, you will need the following :

Education : High school diploma or equivalent.

Licenses / Certifications : Certification to operate powered industrial vehicles and other heavy machinery. Forklift license required.

Experience : Some work experience or intermediate level knowledge through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
