About the role

This role is for a 24-month fixed-term contract based onsite at Kemps Creek. Candidates must be Australian citizens. You will join a team of technicians working on multiple projects and assisting them when needed to meet Service Level Agreements. You will be part of the Field Services Equipment Staging team, handling inbounding, capturing details, storing, and shipping of equipment in our Kemps Creek warehouse. Your responsibilities include participating in all aspects of warehouse operations, including picking and packing, while maintaining a safe and organised work environment. You will collaborate with multiple internal teams and work with a wide variety of telecommunications equipment to meet crucial deadlines and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, capture and verify incoming shipments
  • Store and organise equipment accurately
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
  • Creating consignments as per customer requirements
  • Assist with inventory management and auditing
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Maintain a clean and organised workplace
  • Follow all safety procedures and regulations in line with Telstra
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
  • Stock handling and rotation
  • Basic computer literacy (Excel, etc.)
Qualifications
  • Ability to work onsite in Kemps Creek
  • High-level customer service skills, with good negotiation, facilitation, and strong written and verbal communication
  • Highly organised with problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and under tight timeframes
  • Ability to lift 15 kgs and stand for extended periods
  • Ability to gain a National Defence Clearance
  • High Risk Work Licence - On-Pavement Forklift
  • Basic warehouse experience
  • Ability to conduct medical/police checks
