- Property and Facilities Management
- Protocol and Executive Services
- Security
- Strategic Planning

The initial vacancies to be filled from this process are based in Canberra. This process may be used tofill roles in other locations in Australia and overseas.
We're looking for high-performing people with skills and experience relevant to the department's enabling services operations. You will be highly organised and able to work with limited direction.
Our ideal candidates will:
- demonstrate an ability to manage relationships with stakeholders to achieve goals andanticipate and respond to stakeholder needs and expectations.
- have an in-depth understanding of applicable legislation and policy frameworks relevant to therole, and an ability to provide advice and make decisions based on sound subject matterknowledge.
- be willing and able to guide and support less experienced staff and build team capacitythrough coaching, providing performance feedback and encouraging career development.
- have a demonstrated ability to work under limited guidance, identify problems or issues andresolve them.
- demonstrate the ability to make decisions that involve complex operational, policy or projectissues using good judgement and expertise.
- be a confident communicator with well-developed written and verbal communication skills,and the ability to target communications to diverse audiences.
- ability to quickly familiarise and become adept at using business applications, tools and newtechnology.

Confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage
In applying under this affirmative measure, you will be required to provide evidence to confirm you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Australian.This evidence may be provided as part of your application or at a later stage of the recruitment process.Acceptable evidence includes:
• a letter signed and executed by the Chairperson of an incorporated Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organisation confirming you are recognised as an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person; or
• a confirmation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent form executed by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander organisation; or
• two statutory declarations confirming you are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Australian.
The first declaration must be completed by you and the second declaration can be completed by an Indigenous Service Provider (e.g. a University Support Unit or an Indigenous Medical Service) or an APS employee, who is also Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
