About Our Client

A proud Australian manufacturing business, our client has a national presence across WA, Queensland and Victoria. Due to company growth, the team is now looking to recruit a Financial Controller to join their team.

Job Description

Reporting into the Managing Director, key duties of this role include:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting and analysis
  • Manage cash flow
  • Implement cost control measures
  • Inventory management
  • Utilise data analytics to inform decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to understand cost drivers and track project feasibility
  • Manage a team of four staff, located across three offices - building and fostering healthy work relationships

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have a background working in a commercial manufacturing environment in either a Finance Manager or Controller position. Key traits also include:

  • CA/CPA Qualified
  • Prior people leadership across qualified and transactional finance
  • Track record of value-add
  • Ability to communicate financial terms to non-financial stakeholders
