We are looking for anEnterprise Sales Director to create, expand, and retain revenue for Actian's product lines in the APAC Region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop strategy and orchestrate the utilization of company resources to maximize sales and meet profit goals within assigned accounts/territory/region.
- Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships across various Lines of Business, focusing on strategic partnerships.
- Meet and/or exceed sales quotas and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Undertake direct prospecting activities to target enterprises: follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns and leverage personal networks/relationships.
- Develop a strong pipeline of deals through direct and partner field collaboration activities.
- Assist in leveraging new alliances and OEM relationships with target companies.
- Promote Actian products with End Users, SI, BI, and ISV partner communities, acting as an ambassador for the company.
- 7+ years' sales and/or account management experience in Data Management (Required).
- Demonstrable experience in high-tech enterprise software sales, including inside and outside sales (Required).
- Team leadership skills.
- Proven ability to engage, negotiate, and win new relationships at CXO level in targeted markets.
- Previous knowledge of SaaS, Cloud, Analytics, Database, Data Governance, and ETL technologies.
- Understanding of recent Cloud trends and key vendor products.
- Proven track record in selling and positioning IT solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Sales Automation Tools (e.g., Salesforce.com).
- Minimum bachelor's degree from a leading university or equivalent experience.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to speak and present to large business audiences at conferences and industry forums.
- Team player with a positive attitude and good customer service skills.
- High levels of self-motivation, adaptability, and ability to handle multiple responsibilities independently.
