What you'll contribute to:We are seeking a motivated, organized, and hands-on Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role supports our procurement function, focusing on maximizing value from the acquisition of goods and services, and involves supporting Source to Contract activities across QAL entities.
How will you make an impact?To succeed, you should have prior experience in Source to Contract projects, with 5+ years in operational/service-based contracts, and relevant tertiary education. The ideal candidate will possess an analytical mindset, strong negotiation and influencing skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships. You will help develop and implement procurement strategies and utilize your stakeholder management skills to achieve optimal commercial outcomes. As our procurement team is growing, you will have the opportunity to shape this role to fit your strengths.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Manage end-to-end sourcing projects
- Support drafting, reviewing, and negotiating supplier contracts to ensure legal and company compliance
- Assist in contract management, including performance reviews, variations, renewals, and terminations to maximize value
- Develop key supplier relationship management (SRM) strategies to improve performance and value
- Identify cost-saving and value-adding opportunities
- Lead or participate in initiatives to improve procurement processes, procedures, and systems
