Overview

OHS&E and Integrated Management Systems Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Swan Group of Companies as the Integrated Management Systems and OHS&E Manager. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the company's integrated management system, (MANGO) with a strong focus on health, safety and environmental compliance. This full-time role is based in our Osborne Park office in Western Australia.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the company's integrated management systems, including quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety (OHS&E) programs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards
  • Lead the identification, assessment and mitigation of OHS&E risks across the business
  • Travel to regional bases for audits, Drug and Alcohol testing
  • Train our Supervisors in reporting and implementing our MANGO system
  • Provide expert advice and support to project teams to ensure safe work practices are followed
  • Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and monitor OHS&E targets and key performance indicators
  • Represent the company in external audits and regulatory inspections
Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications in OHS, environmental management or a related field
  • Substantial experience in a similar management systems and OHS&E role, preferably within the construction industry
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing integrated management systems to ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Excellent knowledge of relevant OHS&E legislation, regulations and industry codes of practice
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address systemic issues
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • High level leadership style with the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Experience in MANGO or other IMS computer systems
