Overview

Community Speech Pathologist - Leeton (Incentives Offered) — NSW Health

We are looking for an enthusiastic Speech Pathologist to be part of the multidisciplinary health care team in the community of Leeton. You will be supported to provide high-quality care to patients/clients of the Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) and will be responsible for supporting the community's Speech Pathology needs and promoting wellness. Location: Leeton Health Service. Employment type: Permanent Full Time (Job Share Considered). Applications close: 05 October 2025.

As The Speech Pathologist, You Will Be Responsible For
  • Providing comprehensive Speech Pathology services across a range of clinical areas and settings.
  • Providing assessment, diagnosis and management of clients referred for care within scope of practice and level of experience.
  • Evaluating treatment according to patient/client goal achievement in collaboration with senior clinicians, with adjustments to intervention/plans as appropriate.

Our Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology with eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Have knowledge, skills, clinical experience and ability to provide patient-centred, evidence-based Speech Pathology services.
  • Demonstrate excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to problem-solve and develop solutions using available resources.
