About the role

As ourSenior Accountant / Team Leader – Business Services & Tax, you'll work closely with the Director and broader team to:

• Manage workflow and review technical outputs across compliance and advisory
• Lead and mentor junior and intermediate staff
• Ensure 100% accuracy, timeliness, and top-quality client deliverables
• Contribute to process improvement and help shape how the business grows

This is a full time, hands-on leadership role, perfect for someone who has above-average attention to detail, thrives on lifting others up, and is driven to deliver great outcomes. This is primarily an on-site role,based in vibrant Newtown (Geelong), with heaps of flexible options to help you work at your best.

What we're looking for

Must-haves:

• Minimum 5+ years in public practice (Australian tax)
• 2+ years in a workflow or team leadership role
• Confident in Xero, Excel, and tax compliance tools
• Proven track record of attention to detail and job efficiency
• Based in Australia with full working rights

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience mentoring junior staff
• Warm, approachable leadership style
• Desire to be part of something meaningful and long-term

$100K–$134K+ and a sign-on bonus, commensurate with the skills and experience you bring to the table.
