Overview

At Daiso Australia, we're a vibrant fusion of Japanese heritage and creative products. We are seeking a Store Manager for our Joondalup Store, Joondalup, WA. This is a parental leave cover position with an expected duration of 12-18 months.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain daily store operations by implementing and adhering to business processes and procedures with a spirited approach that motivates and inspires the team.
  • Lead and inspire the team to meet all financial and performance KPIs and ensure all reporting requirements are met on time.
  • Recruit, train, mentor and develop a high-performing store team that provides exceptional customer service and embodies the Daiso culture.
  • Oversee daily store operations, including rostering and timesheets, and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Manage store inventory, merchandising, and visual standards to ensure a delightful shopping experience that keeps customers returning.
  • Uphold store presentation and visual merchandising standards in line with company guidelines and elevate the shopping environment.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations and company policies and procedures are followed.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Store Manager within a retail setting, preferably in high-volume environments, with a minimum of 2 years.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for retail and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Undertake staffing responsibilities, including recruitment, training, and development.
