Job Description
- Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense claims.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments.
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support the accounting and finance team with administrative tasks.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- Formal qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong experience with Australian Payroll tax.
- Experience in accounts reconciliation and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of payroll processes.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
