Ode to Sirens is a lively bar in Fremantle's historic west end, serving Greek food, quality wines and a an extensive list of cocktails. We are looking for a passionate and committed assistant venue manager to join the team and help develop this ever expanding business.
About the role
You will oversee the day to day running of the business, ensuring standards are met on both the floor and behind the bar. You will take responsibility for the guest experience, working closely with the kitchen to ensure service runs smoothly. The ideal candidate would already have experience in a similar role and be ready to take the next step as operations within the P&O hotel develop.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the management of the bar, floor and event operations.
Train and supervise front of house staff.
Maintain a respectful working relationship with the kitchen team.
Ensure compliance with RSA and venue licensing requirements.
Respond to guest correspondence & manage bookings.
Help drive the team to meet operational & financial targets.
Help oversee stock management and ordering.
Requirements
A valid RSA certificate and approved managers card.
Knowledge of classic cocktails and experience making them.
Prior experience running a restaurant section.
At least one year experience in a supervisory role.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
