About the Role

The role of Payroll Officer is to assist the team in facilitating the processing of the weekly payroll service across the company.

Your main duties will include:

  • Ensure effective maintenance and processing of payroll for employees across Novaskills Group Training employees
  • Produce weekly invoices to our Host Employers in accordance with weekly timesheets
  • Assist with end of month payroll and superannuation processing and reconciliation
  • Preparation of PAYG payments
  • Perform with high standards of service to external and internal customers

This part-time role is ideal for someone seeking work/life balance with flexible working arrangements available for the right person.

About You

  • Well-developed administration and organisation skills with high attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with payroll processes. Experience with payroll related systems will be highly regarded
  • Effective time management with the ability to self-prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative and judgement in resolving problems using discretion and confidentiality
  • Excellent computer literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
