About the Role
The role of Payroll Officer is to assist the team in facilitating the processing of the weekly payroll service across the company.
Your main duties will include:
- Ensure effective maintenance and processing of payroll for employees across Novaskills Group Training employees
- Produce weekly invoices to our Host Employers in accordance with weekly timesheets
- Assist with end of month payroll and superannuation processing and reconciliation
- Preparation of PAYG payments
- Perform with high standards of service to external and internal customers
This part-time role is ideal for someone seeking work/life balance with flexible working arrangements available for the right person.
About You
- Well-developed administration and organisation skills with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with payroll processes. Experience with payroll related systems will be highly regarded
- Effective time management with the ability to self-prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and judgement in resolving problems using discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent computer literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
