About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join the Varlo Finance team as a Mortgage Admin/Loan Admin. Flexibility in both full-time, or part-time options (will suit a return to work parent who is seeking school hours). Based in West Perth, you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the company's mortgage and loan operations. This is a crucial position that plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the business. An exciting opportunity to be a part of a budding division of our business, getting in at the grass roots with plenty of scope to grow with us and turn the role into something that will suit you long term.

What you'll be doing

  • Working alongside one of our Directors, you will be handling all administrative tasks related to mortgage and loan applications, including document preparation, data entry, and file management

  • Communicating with clients, brokers, and other stakeholders to gather required information and provide updates on application status

  • Coordinating with the underwriting team to ensure timely processing of loan applications

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the company's database

  • Assisting with the preparation of reports and other relevant documentation

  • Providing excellent customer service and support to both internal and external clients

What we're looking for

  • No direct finance experience required, however we will favour candidates who can demonstrate experience in administration, support, or PA type roles from outside of the industry

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues

  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
