We currently have a full-time vacancy for a Field Service Technician in our Wollongong Office.

The successful applicant must be a self-motivated individual with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills and have a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and diagnosing electro-mechanical product faults. Past experience in a service field is desirable. They should be able to provide on-site corrective and preventative maintenance on our range of products. The successful applicant will be required to travel between job sites and to our training facility in Sydney for product training. A current driver's license is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Position
  • Installation and commissioning of Multifunction Office Devices supplied by FujiFilm.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relations at all times.
  • Provide ongoing support and operator training for our products.
  • Manage own spare parts stock.
  • Communicate with customers regarding the status of product repairs.
  • Proactively address customer complaints.
  • Must be able to lift/move equipment up to 20kg and work in various environmental conditions.
We Are Looking For a
  • Self-motivated individual capable of managing own time and resources.
  • Well-presented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Minimum of 2 years field experience in maintaining/repairing electro-mechanical products.
  • Networking and computer experience.
  • Proficient in Windows OS, TCP/IP networking, and printer configuration protocols.
  • Potentially a 3rd or 4th-year electronics apprentice background.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible and versatile, with the ability and desire to work across a wide range of products.
  • Must have permanent right to work in Australia and be willing to undergo a police check.
Desirable Criteria
  • Field experience repairing and maintaining office products, printing/copying equipment, and/or wide-format/toner technologies/finishing equipment.
  • Experience diagnosing electronic and mechanical faults.
  • IT knowledge of PC and networking.
  • Current driver's license.
