What's the role on offer?

Due to an internal promotion, Alliance Airlines is excited to offer an opportunity for a Graduate Accountant to join our dynamic team. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-flying industry. You'll support the preparation of financial reports, analyse key financial information, and help ensure compliance with financial regulations, all while delivering accurate, high-quality work. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Support end-of-month processes, including journal entries, general ledger and bank reconciliations, and accounts payable coding.
  • Assist in the preparation of key financial reports, including income tax, BAS, fringe benefits, and statutory submissions.
  • Help ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies across the business.
  • Contribute to accurate financial data entry, reporting, and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors, and assist in implementing new systems and process improvements.
  • Promote and uphold high standards of safety, security, and compliance in everything you do.

Who are we looking for?

You're a recent accounting graduate with a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for learning. You thrive in a team environment, are driven to deliver high-quality work, and are excited to grow your career in the aviation industry.
  • A degree-qualified accounting graduate working towards CPA or CA certification
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and Australian tax regulations
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence using the full Microsoft Office suite
  • Great communicator with a collaborative mindset and a proactive attitude
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management, task tracking, and problem solving abilities
  • Team player who lives the Alliance values and embraces flexibility and continuous learning
